Uche C. Isiugo, Jr.

Uche C. Isiugo, Jr. is the CEO of Infranergy. He is an Investment, Commercial Management and Development executive with a track record in investments and development of Solar photovoltaic (PV), Wind energy, energy storage projects, gas infrastructure, technology, aviation and transport sectors. He has had broad responsibility in commercial, asset management, project development, power marketing and regulatory as Director at Key Capture Energy and Manager at NextEra Energy. At NextEra, he was the Team Lead of the utility scale energy storage portfolio group, and jointly managed an 11 GW portfolio of $10 billion Solar & Wind project finance which garnered the Innovation Award.  The portfolio included a variety of investor tax equity, back leverage and construction loan structures.

Prior to that, he was in the Citigroup EMEA investment banking team, where he supported the execution of key mandates, including power asset acquisition bids and the then-largest Eurobond ($300 million) in Nigeria. Preceding his work at Citigroup, he was employed for several years at Boeing Company where he provided corporate financial analysis and guided investment decisions. Uche is an Adjunct Professor at Florida Atlantic University where he teaches Mergers & Acquisitions in the Executive MBA Program. Uche holds dual Bachelors degrees in Finance and Economics from Temple University, an MBA from Seattle Pacific University, and a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from the University of New Orleans.

Daniel Townsend

Dan is a Senior Advisor, with significant experience as an Engineering Project director at Energy Systems Group, energy engineering at Siemens and several other engagements. He has developed over $250M of self-funding contracts as lead engineer and driven innovative project funding from the utility savings created. Dan manages the development of large engineering projects as a consultant to the municipal, university, school, and hospital (MUSH) market. These energy conservation projects permit engineers to identify, design, and build construction projects that ultimately save enough resources to self-fund. Dan specializes in solar photovoltaic (PV) assets, thermal energy storage projects, improvement of engineering systems such as chillers, boilers, HVAC / lighting control systems, and electrical, steam, and water distribution systems.

Dan has delivered award winning energy projects for the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. His professional history includes experience within the maritime industry as a licensed Engineer and Mate, the nuclear industry as a nuclear Shift Test Engineer, and as an Engineering Manager for a variety of positions within the private and public sectors. As a US Naval Reserve officer he served in the US Merchant Marine Reserve, the US Joint Forces Intelligence Command, and NATO Intel at SACLANT. Previous work includes senior positions within the DoD and the private sector. Dan’s professional interests include Operations Research and Systems Analysis (ORSA), modeling & simulation of business decisions, statistical analysis for business analytics, quality control / capacity plans for business and manufacturing, and reliability analysis. Dan’s education includes dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Marine Engineering and Marine Transportation from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, a Master’s degree with honors in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University (ODU), and 30 credit hours toward a PhD in Engineering Management from ODU.

Kwame Ugoji

Kwame Ugoji is a Senior Advisor, with over 17 years of experience in project management, financial management, business and technology, including strategy formulation and implementation across several industry segments specifically, real estate, energy, management consulting, financial services and information technology. A celebrated business attorney, Kwame has been Principal Partner of Logistix Solicitors and Managing Director of Flexi Marina Investments Limited.

Kwame’s enduring passion is working with clients and partners to meet the challenge of sustaining superior levels of value creation through product and process innovation. He has executed several energy sector acquisitions. Kwame has advised on and led diverse teams in the transactional management and conclusion of various large scale transactions both locally and internationally at a cumulative approximate transaction value of over $200 million. Kwame holds two degrees in Law and Psychology from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and a B.L. degree from the Nigerian Law School. He is a practicing Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
